Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AEM Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5+ to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale, customer-facing web platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AEM core components, headless CMS capabilities, CI/CD practices, and cross-team collaboration in Agile delivery environments.
Prior Apple experience is a strong plus, along with experience building high-traffic, highly available digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
AEM Development & Engineering
  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Adobe AEM 6.5+, delivering at least 2+ full lifecycle AEM implementations.
  • Build and customize AEM templates, components, dialogs, widgets, bundles, and workflows.
  • Develop solutions using Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, Touch UI libraries, and Adobe Core Components.
  • Implement AEM DAM, workflows, and content authoring best practices.
Headless CMS & Integrations
  • Design and implement Headless CMS solutions using AEM Content Fragments.
  • Integrate AEM with external systems and enterprise platforms via APIs and services.
Platform & Framework Expertise
  • Work extensively with JCR (Java Content Repository APIs), Sling Web Framework, and Apache Felix OSGi (R6/R7).
  • Apply best practices for scalability, performance, and security in AEM-based applications.
CI/CD, Testing & Deployment
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated build/test processes using tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, and Selenium.
  • Assist with application deployments and migrations across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
Collaboration & Delivery
  • Work closely with QA, UX, Product, and Project Management teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance benchmarks, and delivery timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of experience in AEM development, with strong Web Content Management expertise.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Adobe AEM 6.5+.
  • Proven experience delivering 2+ full-cycle AEM projects.
  • Strong experience with AEM components, templates, workflows, DAM, and authoring tools.
  • Hands-on expertise with HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, Touch UI, and Adobe Core Components.
