The Apple Ads EPM team is looking for an ML-focused EPM to drive initiatives that focus on building and scaling machine learning platforms. You will work closely with engineers and product managers to drive roadmaps, navigate dependencies, mitigate risks, and meet ambitious timelines. Your role is highly cross-functional and will bridge bringing teams together to launch exciting products..
Description
You will be part of an engineering organization that is highly tuned towards delivering strategic outcomes for the business. You will lead project planning, prioritization, and execution of machine learning initiatives that are central to business growth. ","responsibilities":"Plan, drive, prioritize, and deliver against a key roadmap that builds ML frameworks and platforms.
Lead project planning, delivery, work breakdowns, resource planning, and day-to-day project management using suitable methodologies.
Work closely with technology leadership to form strategic plans and contribute towards defining overall technology direction.
Negotiate the sequencing and timing of releases and launches with other engineering and product teams. Assess delivery risks, propose effective mitigation paths, and identify critical trade-off options.
Develop and implement communication strategies for keeping stakeholders up-to-date on progress and asks.
Streamline and execute quarterly planning for engineering teams, assisting with prioritization efforts to align engineering efforts against the top priorities of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of AI/ML workflows and algorithmic improvements.
Experiences managing projects involving distributed systems, large-scale cloud architectures, and performance marketing platforms.
Experiences managing software projects focused on building and scaling platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of leading projects related to AI/ML systems. Experiences with low latency architectures, cloud platforms, and/or data-driven solutions is preferred.
3+ years leading engineering roadmaps, planning, and execution across multiple engineering teams.
Demonstrated experience delivering platforms in cloud or hybrid environments with a focus on scale, performance, and reliability.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and communicate with engineering, product, and leadership partners.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
