Marcom LA is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group creating and overseeing the world-class marketing and advertising driving Apple's rapidly-growing Services sector including Apple Sports, Apple Music, App Store, Apple Pay, Apple Arcade, Apple News, Apple Books, Apple Podcasts, Apple Maps, iCloud, Creator Studio and more. Whether we’re launching the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, introducing Messi to MLS, sharing the next generation of games in the App Store, or celebrating the seamless joy of using Apple Pay, Marcom LA’s mission is to build brand love for Apple every day. Our Operations team manages Business Operations, Project Management, Financial prioritization and Resource Management for Marcom LA. This role reports to the Managing Director and collaborates cross-functionally to establishing internal processes and procedures to ensure that the Marcom team is functioning effectively.
Description
This role leads operations, including managing Annual and Quarterly Planning designed to align resources and funding to strategic priorities, while leading a team, managing vendors and freelance talent infrastructure. The Senior Operations Manager also coordinates elements of personnel management including cultural initiatives, the performance review process, and staffing.","responsibilities":"Partner with Marcom LA and Worldwide (WW) leadership to develop the optimal structure and resource plan that balances innovation, efficiency and quality, while enabling business goals to be met.
Manage the group’s quarterly and fiscal planning processes to identify key strategic priorities and to ensure that resources and funding are aligned against these priorities. They will be responsible to communicate and align annual and quarterly planning cycles with both Marcom and Services Operations groups, as well as the broader set of stakeholders across Apple.
Proactively identify and evaluate strategic opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness, presenting recommendations to leadership for consideration and implementation.
Synchronize information flow between the Marcom group in Santa Clara Valley (SCV) and Marcom LA operations teams, serving as the primary day-to-day contact.
Develop new processes and adapt WW process to achieve the unique needs of Marcom LA. Experience utilizing, developing and deploying proprietary process management tools is required.
Responsible for overall management of agency resources the group may contract with.
Assist with identification of potential partners and will manage relationships, including establishing contracts, rates, working processes, and ongoing agency performance management in partnership with Apple Procurement and Marcom Global Operations & Governance teams based in SCV, as appropriate.
Oversee ongoing financial management including budget and resource planning and ongoing reconciliation and reporting. Finance functions, setting strong working processes for the entire group that are in line with Apple’s procurement and financial policies.
Collaborate with our People Business Partners to ensure effective execution of quarterly, annual, and ongoing initiatives within the group, including recruitment, training, and professional development.
Manage internal operations including Security, infrastructure and IT, Facilities and Logistics for Marcom LA.

Minimum Qualifications
15+ years relevant experience in managing the operations for a creative advertising agency or in-house creative department.
3+ years of experience leading, motivating, mentoring, and developing a high-performing operations team.
Demonstrated track record of managing operations with hands-on experience and proven ability of enhancing the strategic approach to planning and operations.
Proven experience establishing and optimizing processes that streamline operations, increase efficiency, simplify workflows and elevate quality.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $218,100 and $327,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
