Worldwide Product & Launch Readiness is all about making sure new products are ready to launch and that ongoing products are thriving. We work closely with Apple’s Operations, Sales, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams to create a solid plan for getting products to market.
Description
As a Product Launch Analyst in Worldwide Readiness, you’ll be the mastermind behind high-impact programs that shine with excellence, paying super close attention to every detail. You’ll be the go-to person for managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders from different areas, ensuring projects align perfectly with Apple’s mission to create amazing customer experiences. Plus, you’ll be helping to build the internal systems, tools, and processes we need to succeed in the future.
- Partner with WW Product Marketing, Supply Demand Management, Logistics, Retail Fulfillment Operations, Product Operations, Regional Ops teams and other cross functional organizations to craft the NPI strategy for all routes to market and execute flawlessly.
- Analyze supply chain data to understand the dependencies, gates, and milestones; Evaluate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate consumer impact, including ad-hoc problem solving during unprecedented events.
- Prepare cross-functional operational teams on new product launch or compliance implementation plans. Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to cross-functional and executive teams.
- Assess regulatory impacts on existing products and define a strategy to intercept regulation sand ensure compliance.
- Influence launch strategy decisions through data analysis, collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach.
- Drive post-mortem analysis for each launch to identify RCA, opportunities for continuous process, & system improvement. Document and implement new processes effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven Track record of success leading complex global projects in New Product Introductions, Supply Demand Planning, Order Management, or Logistics
Ability to synthesize varying inputs across different disciplines into a cohesive strategy which accounts for impacts to all variables
Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable driving issue resolution in a fast-paced environment
You should be comfortable presenting to executive management.
MBA, Masters Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, is desired.
Prior experience in product planning, production control, inventory management, or production/manufacturing operations is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years within Operations, NPI, Project/Program Management, or equivalent background experiences will be considered.
Must be able to work independently as well lead cross-functional teams domestically and globally.
Highly effective communication skills; ability to present to a wide range of stakeholders across different teams and levels of the organization
Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence in a matrix organization
In-depth experience in program and/or project management
Attention to details
Ability to structure work and actions from ambiguous business challenges
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,200 and $249,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
