Job description

We are seeking a Production Associate to join our fast-growing, multi-brand design and manufacturing company based in New York City. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build their career in apparel production within an entrepreneurial, hands-on environment. Working closely with our SVP of Production & Sourcing and cross-functional teams, you will be involved in the day-to-day execution of product from order through delivery across multiple brands, retailers, and product categories. Our environment blends the scale and discipline of mass retail with the speed and creativity of brand-building. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to take ownership as they grow.
  • Full time hours onsite in their midtown office. Salary at full time approximately $75-80K based on experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the end-to-end production process across multiple brands and product categories, from order placement through final delivery.
  • Manage and track styles on order, ensuring key milestones and production deadlines are met.
  • Assist with costing, purchase order details, and production-related documentation.
  • Track and manage production submissions, including lab dips, trims, strike-offs, packaging, and other approvals.
  • Maintain sample tracking and follow up with factories and sourcing partners to ensure timely receipt and approvals.
  • Maintain and update Time & Action calendars, proactively flagging potential delays or issues.
  • Communicate directly with overseas factories and sourcing partners on production status, approvals, timing, and follow-up.
  • Partner closely with Design, Technical Design, and Merchandising teams to ensure product requirements are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and internal teams to support on-time deliveries.
  • Proactively anticipate and troubleshoot production challenges before they impact delivery.
  • Utilize and maintain PLM and internal tracking systems; training will be provided on proprietary systems.
  • Support customer-facing communication and meetings when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records, approvals, and production information across all assigned styles.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in apparel Production, Product Development, Sourcing, or a related function.
  • Strong understanding of the apparel production lifecycle, from development and approvals through bulk production and delivery.
  • Experience working with overseas factories and/or sourcing partners.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple brands, styles, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Logistics, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general business systems.
  • Experience with PLM systems is a plus; training will be provided on proprietary systems.
  • Experience within women's apparel and/or mass retail is a plus.
