Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner
    • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of oncology experience as a Nurse Practitioner
    • Alternative qualification: Minimum of 3 years of oncology RN experience with current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
    • Candidates who do not meet the above oncology experience requirements will not be considered at this time
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in both Iowa and Illinois
  • Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications consistent with scope of practice
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States (H-1B cap-exempt sponsorship available)

The MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care, accredited by the NAPBC, the NQMBC, the CoC and the ACOS, is seeking an additional Oncology experienced APP to join our team of 4 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners and experienced clinical/non-clinical staff. MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care offers a full range of innovative treatments, technology and educational resources. We offer collaborative services for our patients such as; radiation oncology, infusion resources, genetic testing, surgical intervention (including robotics) clinical trials, tumor boards, dieticians, and cancer navigators. We are a community-based hospital program; locally operated with clinics in Davenport and Clinton, Iowa and Silvis, Illinois.
