Job description

The pickleball program supervisor is responsible for coordinating pickleball programming including clinics/drills, league play, and quarterly mixers. Cover the pickleball desk a minimum of 12 hours/week. Ensure that the courts and equipment are in good condition and keep track of supplies.ย 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and coordinate programming for pickleball including leagues, drills/clinics, and mixers.
  2. Cover the pickleball desk a minimum of 12 hours per week.
  3. Cover league play including coordination of matches, score keeping, and being onsite for league nights.
  4. Utilize our software systems for day-to-day operations including assisting members with purchases, scheduling and program enrollment.
  5. Deliver exceptional, proactive customer service by greeting members and guests, ensuring proper check-in procedures, and fostering a welcoming environment.
  6. Ensures daily operational excellence and adherence to JCC Pickleball policies and procedures.
  7. Handle member questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and effectively.
  8. Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are maintained.
  9. Follow all Emergency Action Plan procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies. Report incidents promptly to appropriate leadership.
  10. Communicate member feedback, operational concerns, and facility issues to the Director of Fitness or Fitness & Recreation Operations Manager in a timely manner.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Submit quarterly programming to marketing and Salesforce team.
  2. Promote programs and lessons via monthly Eblast.
  3. Use our software scheduling system and app to assist members with court reservations, purchasing drills/clinics, and lessons, and enrolling in leagues.

AGENCY EXPECTATIONS

  1. Attend all required staff meetings and agency trainings.
  2. Model the JCCโ€™s mission, values, and commitment to community.
  • Strong administrative skills

  • Availability to work evenings and weekend

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 20 hours per week
  • Variable but will include evenings and weekends
