Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality pickleball instruction through private lessons, small groups, classes, clinics, and camps.
  • Work with players of all skill levels to build fundamentals, improve techniques, and develop strategies.
  • Create a positive, motivating environment that emphasizes sportsmanship, discipline, respect, and enjoyment of the game.
  • Help promote and support club programs by encouraging participation and player development.
  • Provide professional representation of Pickleball Kingdom at all times, including promoting approved equipment and products.
  • Ensure player safety, proper use of equipment, and facility care during all sessions.
  • Adapt coaching techniques to meet the skill level and goals of participants.
  • Support open play sessions by encouraging balanced play, fair rotation, and inclusive experiences.
  • Maintain current knowledge of pickleball instruction methods, training techniques, and industry trends.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities offered by the club.

Experience

  • Pickleball coaching certification through a recognized organization (PPR, IPTPA, etc.) or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Prior coaching or teaching experience preferred (pickleball, tennis, or related sport).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage players of all ages and levels.
  • CPR and AED certification preferred.
  • Passion for pickleball and desire to help grow the sport in a professional environment.
