UFC GYM Woodbridge | NJ

Are you passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and enjoy helping students grow on and off the mats?
UFC GYM Woodbridge is seeking an experienced Brown or Black Belt to lead and grow our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program. We are looking for a positive, energetic instructor who enjoys teaching beginners, developing experienced students, and creating a welcoming environment for both youth and adults.
This is an exciting opportunity to help build one of Central New Jersey's premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programs within a nationally recognized fitness and martial arts brand.
Schedule
  • Part-Time | Approximately 6–9 hours per week
  • Weekday evening availability during prime training hours is required
  • Must be available to teach at least one weekend class (Saturday or Sunday)
Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging Youth and Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and professional training environment
  • Help students develop proper technique, confidence, and discipline
  • Assist with belt promotions and student development
  • Support in-house seminars, special events, and tournaments
  • Promote a positive team culture and strong sense of community
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional mat area
  • Opportunity to teach private lessons
Qualifications
  • Brown Belt or Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
  • Previous experience teaching Youth and/or Adult classes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for helping students succeed
  • Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
  • Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • Competition experience preferred
  • Experience building or growing a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program
  • Qualified Brown Belts are strongly encouraged to apply
Compensation
  • $40–$50 per hour, based on experience
