EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, 40 hours/week

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Helping Youth and Parents Enter (HYPE) Recovery

We use a family-focused treatment that transforms young lives and sets the course for a better future. HYPE Recovery combines the use of MultiDimensional Family Therapy (MDFT), Medication Assisted Treatment, and Recovery Monitoring and Support to successfully reduce opioid and high risk substance misuse for clients ages 12-21 and their families.
ABOUT THE POSITION: Recovery Support Worker
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides recovery management checkups and case management support to clients and their families in person, over the phone, through use of text messaging and in the community.
  • Understands treatment models and uses concepts when appropriate to aid clients in understanding and managing their symptoms and their recovery.
  • Collaborate with therapists, supervisor and other relevant clinical team members to coordinate and deliver services to clients. Works in close collaboration with assigned therapist or supervisor in the event that clinical or crisis intervention is needed.
  • Maintains family and other collateral contacts to ensure quality, client-centered services.
  • Assesses and involves natural supports in treatment planning and discharge processes whenever possible.
  • Demonstrates competency in topics of substance use and recovery, mental health, child development, and provides trauma sensitive and culturally competent care.
  • Ensures that urinalyses are completed as required by model.
  • Responsible for documenting all services and contacts with clients, collateral contacts and appointments according to agency and model standards.
  • Audio records support sessions as required and upload into online portal.•
  • Attends all model required meetings and trainings along with Recovery Support Worker coaching calls and agency trainings.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's preferred, will consider HS with 4+ years' or AS/AA with 2+ years lived or professional experience.
Experience: At least two (2) years' experience in a substance use setting preferred. Demonstrated orientation toward serving people with substance use and/or mental health issues in their community required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid driver's license.

COMPENSATION*:
$20.6586/hour minimum, and up commensurate upon experience
*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off of relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
