Position Summary...About Last Mile Delivery Platform (Spark Driver App)
The Last Mile Delivery Platform team builds the Spark Driver App and the programs that help drivers choose Walmart consistently—delivering great customer outcomes at scale. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Trust & Safety to translate enterprise commitments into driver-facing experiences and measurable performance. This role is central to how we grow and modernize driver value: shaping rewards, communications, and partnerships that strengthen retention, support Walmart+ growth, and improve delivery quality across the network.
Lead the strategy and scale of Spark’s Driver Rewards—one of the biggest levers to retain and engage the drivers who power Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery. As Director of Driver Loyalty & Rewards, you’ll own a multi-year roadmap and a six-pillar organization spanning tier architecture, metrics governance, partnerships, innovation, and in-app engagement. You’ll operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, influencing senior leaders while building a program that improves driver retention, Perfect Order Rate, and Last Mile Delivery P&L outcomes.What you'll do...
  • Set the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for Spark Driver Rewards aligned to enterprise Last Mile Delivery goals.
  • Lead a six-pillar org across strategy, tier/value architecture, metrics governance, partnerships, innovation, and app engagement.
  • Evolve tiered rewards to drive retention, engagement, and quality at scale.
  • Build margin-positive partnerships and a 15+ partner pipeline of co-op perks.
  • Deliver executive-ready insights, trade-offs, and recommendations using program performance and market intelligence.
What you’ll bring...
  • 10+ years in strategy/operations/loyalty or large-scale consumer programs; 5+ years leading managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proven experience designing and scaling tiered loyalty/rewards programs in a two-sided marketplace, gig economy, or membership context.
  • Strong analytics and experimentation fluency; comfort partnering with data science/ML.
  • Track record negotiating and operating multi-party commercial partnerships.
  • Experience in regulated environments with compliance, auditability, and FTC-related requirements.
