Job Overview: Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr Requirement/Must Have: Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher). Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Security). Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices. Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger for API design and documentation. Knowledge of JSON, XML, and API data formats. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and open standards (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger). Build scalable backend services using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or similar. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and specifications. Develop and maintain API documentation using OpenAPI (Swagger) specifications. Ensure APIs are secure, well-tested, and follow best practices in authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, etc.). Optimize application performance and scalability. Integrate APIs with third-party services, microservices, and enterprise systems. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards. Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure code quality. Participate in CI/CD processes and contribute to deployment pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Nice to Have: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with API gateways (Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, etc.). Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
