Job Title: QC Inspector

Status: Non-exempt (Hourly)

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00/hr. DOE, plus monthly bonus program is paid when company-wide monthly sales goal is reached (full-time).

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

This position typically requires three years experience in sheet metal shop inspection. CPU skills are required.


PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To ensure quality on parts being produced throughout the plant.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Resolves problems between machine operators and leadsperson and/or programmer in regard to quality of products.
  • Inspects sheet metal set up parts from all shifts.
  • Inspects sheet metal parts on the shelf ready for coating.
  • Spot check products for quality from various machines.
  • Field questions regarding processes for handling products and various issues regarding quality.
  • Inspect first article products and check parts to print.
  • Make reports for first article products for internal and external purposes.
  • Fill out and maintain nonconformance forms

Performs other duties as assigned.
