This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. Non-exempt role; Reports to Site Manager; Close Supervision assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently. Essential Qualifications:Must have valid drivers licenseMust have TWIC cardMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalentAPI 510/570/653 CertificationsAbility to pass a background check and drug testDocumentation needed: certifications and resumeAPI 510/570/653 CertificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skillsPost-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluationJob site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place Functional Requirements:Work with Chief Inspector in assessing all fixed equipment mechanical failures, assisting in diagnosing root cause of failures; supervise NDE technicians in data collection effort for CML program; possess functional knowledge of industry codes and standards such as API 510/570/650/653; possess a good level of functionality with Plant Conditioning Monitoring System (PCMS) software. This includes ability to effectively plan, schedule, manage data entry effort, ensure quality of data, ability to write reports for data filtering; review and approve mechanical and pipe isometric drawings by 3rd party fabrication and design engineering companies; review and approve welding and PWHT procedures by 3rd party fabrication and design engineering companies; assist Chief Inspector with collecting and providing monthly executive summary of departmental duties and critical KPI's such as CML statistic summary, external inspection overview, etc...; create and review turnaround scope with regards to MI requirements and scheduled inspection due dates; turnaround report writing, proofing and data analysis, thickness measurement analysis, and recommendations.; have a practical understanding of Fixed Equipment Mechanical Integrity (FEMI); review and update FEMI procedures; supervise other departmental critical surveys to ensure operational security and site reliability; perform other duties/assignments as required CompensationFinal agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. BenefitsDepending on your employment status, benefits include health, dental, vision, life, ADD, voluntary life / ADD, disability benefits, leaves of absence, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays, telehealth access, and employee assistance program. Physical Involvement:Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movement of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30-50 lbs. from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; planning work; comparing and understanding differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects; picturing and evaluating solid objects from drawings or diagrams using standards that can be measured or checked; following oral and/or written directions, plans and blueprints; reading; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards Turner Industries is an equal employment opportunity employer.
