Monarch Investment is seeking a Full-Time Groundskeeper at the Mesa Ridge Apartments in Albuquerque. We offer up to $18/hrs plus 2 weeks paid time off, and rental discounts. The position is responsible for the overall upkeep of the property landscape and the exterior image (Curb Appeal). Duties will include maintaining the lawns, driveways, parking lots, property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas.

In addition, Monarch's ownership also operates Monarch Ski Area near Salida, CO.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily trash removal from all public exterior areas
- Performs lawn mowing, trimming, edging
- Spring and Fall cleanup
- Responsible for care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company related to grounds work.
- Responsible for light/basic tree and bush trimming
- Assists maintenance staff as requested, including but not limited to, preventative maintenance to buildings, moving appliances, inspections or assisting in getting apartments ready for new tenants.
- Snow removal (When applicable)
-Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License
General knowledge of grounds keeping/landscaping
Safely operate machine equipment
A maintenance skills assessment is administered during the interview process for this position.
This role requires pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and a drug screening.
Valid driver's license required.
A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
