AP Teacher
ABC Education Group has recently launched Polaris Global Academy, an online school serving highly ambitious students from all over the world. We specialize in helping academically strong students who are looking to get ahead, stand out, and achieve big academic goals. We are seeking part-time AP teachers in various subject to teach courses for the 2024-25 school year.
If you're passionate about helping high school students realize their potential, and looking for an opportunity to to join a new and growing virtual school, we invite you to apply.
This is a part-time, hourly position, that is fully remote and requires no travel.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Remotely teach at least 1 AP subject course to a small class of students.
  • Deliver 2-3 hours of live instruction + office hours each week during the academic year.
  • Craft engaging asynchronous learning activities and assignments to help students stay ahead of the pace and successfully make it through all AP course content.
  • Utilize our LMS (Canvas) and video conferencing platform (BigBlueButton) to deliver all live instruction, course content, assessments, and communication.
  • Deliver instruction using your own proven methods and materials within the confines of the AP course guides.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience teaching classes of students in a virtual setting.
  • Experience teaching one or more AP subjects.

Compensation:
$60-$90 / hour
