Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension systems, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer components, and towing solutions, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Corporate team in Elkhart, Indiana.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-driven Accounts Payable Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll manage the full AP cycle, support month-end close, maintain vendor relationships, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Hours: 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm

Pay: $21.50 - $24.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices, match to purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform general accounting functions including journal entries and month-end close.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and assigned balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with monthly AP accruals and ensure accurate expense coding.
  • Support weekly cash forecasting and AP reporting.
  • Lead AP-related portions of internal and external audits.
  • Prepare vouchers, checks, invoices, and financial reports.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records including freight, refunds, rentals, and other charges.
  • Research and resolve payment issues with vendors and internal teams.
  • Provide support for employee and vendor inquiries.
  • Perform data entry and coding in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
  • Handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint required.
  • Excellent communication and problem?solving abilities.
