Immediate opening for an Accounting Assistant (Part Time) in Chino, CA who possesses:

  • 1 to 3+ years of accounts receivable and timekeeping/payroll experience
  • Experience with ADP
  • Experience with MAS 90, Sage 100, or a similar ERP system
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule of 20 to 30 hours per week

FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to support accounts receivable, timekeeping, payroll support, purchase order processing, reconciliations, and general accounting operations within a manufacturing environment. This part-time role will work closely with the HR & AP Manager and Office Manager while helping maintain accuracy, organization, and timely accounting support during a critical transition. The ideal candidate will have AR and payroll/timekeeping experience, ADP experience, ERP knowledge, and strong attention to detail.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with timekeeping and payroll support
  • Supporting accounts receivable functions
  • Assisting with collections
  • Preparing invoices and deposit invoices
  • Completing account reconciliations
  • Assisting with purchase order processing
  • Working within ADP for payroll and timekeeping tasks
  • Utilizing MAS 90, Sage 100, or similar ERP systems
  • Partnering closely with the HR & AP Manager and Office Manager
  • Supporting accounting operations within a manufacturing environment
  • Maintaining accuracy and organization in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
  • Assisting with accounting documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping as needed
  • Communicating professionally with internal team members, customers, and vendors as needed
  • Performing other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

The selected candidate will also possess:

  • 1 to 3+ years of accounts receivable and timekeeping/payroll experience
  • Experience using ADP required
  • Experience with MAS 90, Sage 100, or similar ERP systems required
  • Manufacturing or distribution industry experience highly preferred
  • Accounts receivable, collections, invoicing, and reconciliation experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to jump in quickly and support a team during a critical transition
  • Professional communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work onsite in Chino, CA
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule of 20 to 30 hours per week

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday
