firstPRO is seeking an AR/AP Manager for a permanent position with a well-established company in the Marietta/Kennesaw area.


SELLS:

  • Short/long term disability
  • 12 co holidays, 4 floating holidays 10 days vacay, 2 PTO and 6 sick days
  • 1 day remote (after 1 year)

  • Is strongest on the AR/collections side.
  • Has implemented operational improvements.
  • Uses KPIs to drive accountability.
  • Can mentor and develop a team.
  • Is comfortable handling escalated customer issues.
  • Thinks strategically while remaining hands-on enough to support the team.


Position Overview:

Accounting Operations Manager responsible for leading the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions while managing and developing a high-performing team. Oversees departmental KPIs, ensuring accuracy, timely vendor payments, and efficient customer collections. Drives process improvements, resolves escalated collection issues, and provides day-to-day operational support and leadership. Recognized for strong analytical thinking, independent decision-making, and the ability to optimize financial operations and team performance.


Experience Desired:

  • 7-10 years of experience leading teams and processes for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Experience in a high-volume environment with revenues of $400MM+
  • Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables, sum ifs)
  • SAP experience preferred; ERP experience required
  • Understanding of credit risk profiles, and credit tools to evaluate risk, and bad debt management
