Job Summary

We areseeking an experienced AOG Maintenance Supervisor with advanced skillsin both AOG maintenance and leadership with a strong emphasis on safety,compliance, quality, and productivity. This key role is responsible for theoverall operation, performance, and efficiency of the AOG maintenancedepartment. This role encompasses leadership in project execution, personnelmanagement, and department oversight at our Dallas Love Field facility. Youwill work on high-end corporate aircraft with precision, autonomy, andprofessionalism in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. The AOG Maintenance Supervisor reportsdirectly to the Director of MRO Services and Assistant DOM.


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Project & Maintenance Supervision

  • Participate in planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
  • Establish and communicate departmental priorities
  • Identify and allocate required resources for assigned projects
  • Verify resource availability and commit to scheduling requirements
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to personnel
  • Monitor job progress to ensure adherence to schedule and budget
  • Adjust resources and priorities as necessary to maintain performance targets

Personnel Supervision

  • Safety: Enforce all safety policies and procedures; ensure personnel are properly trained and compliant with safety requirements
  • Personnel Assignment: Assign technicians to crews, shifts, aircraft, and specific job tasks
  • Attendance: Monitor and address attendance issues in a timely manner
  • Performance Management: Evaluate employee performance and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Training: Identify training needs, coordinate on-the-job training, and ensure training programs provided by Business Jet QC Department are complete when required
  • Professional Conduct: Monitor employee behavior and interpersonal interactions; address issues and coordinate with HR, DOM, and Assistant DOM as required

Productivity & Billable Performance

  • Maintain a minimum personal billable rate of 60%
  • Ensure assigned technicians maintain a minimum billable efficiency of 70%
  • Actively monitor labor utilization and adjust staffing or workflows to meet or exceed billable targets
  • Drive accountability and continuous improvement in workforce productivity

General Management

  • Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment
  • Ensure full compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with the Quality Department on unairworthy conditions and corrective actions
  • Plan, direct, and oversee all departmental activities
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all maintenance work and associated documentation
  • Enforce all applicable procedures, regulations, and company policies
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in serviceable condition
  • Promote and enforce strong housekeeping standards across facilities
  • Acquire and retain customer relationships
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Delegation of Authority

The AOG Maintenance Supervisor may delegateduties to qualified personnel as necessary. However, such delegation does notrelieve the Supervisor of overall responsibility for task completion andcompliance.


Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma
  • Minimum three (3) years of AOG maintenance with leadership responsibilities preferred.
    • Preferred airframe experience on Gulfstream, Global Express, Falcon 900 EASy, Challenger 350, Citation Sovereign, King Air, and similar aircraft.
    • Preferred engine experience on BR710, HTF7000, PW306, TFE-731, PT6

 Skills & Competencies:

      Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraftsystems, and maintenance best practices

      Experience with maintenance tracking systemsand work order documentation

      Demonstrated expertise in both troubleshootingand problem-solving skills.

      Excellent analytical and organizationalskills.

      Excellent written and verbal communicationskills.

      Excellent customer service skills

      Proficient computer skills.

      Ability to self-inspect work and maintainaccurate and detailed records

Certifications, Licenses, & Badging

  • REQUIRED: Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification
  • Ability to attain Love Field Badge

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularlyexposed to various weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to loudnoise levels in and around their work environment. The physical demandsregularly required are to sit for extended periods of time, squat, crawl, climbalong with the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Dailyinteraction with Clients where tact and consideration are mandatory whilemaintaining a team effort in customer service. Business Jet is an IS-BAO StageIII Certified Operator with FAA Approved SMS/ASAP Programs.

Additional Demands

Ability to travel up to 75%.

Must be flexible with schedule.

Must supply all tools necessary to perform basic job functions.
