Job description

Company Description Flow Aviation LLC is a Part 145 Repair Station and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) service provider based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The company operates main offices at Dallas Love Field and Meacham Airport in Fort Worth, serving a wide range of general and corporate aviation customers. Flow Aviation specializes in responsive AOG support and scheduled maintenance to keep aircraft safe, compliant, and mission-ready. Team members work in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Role Description The AOG Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in Love Field Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing aircraft issues that prevent safe operation, often on short notice and under time-critical conditions. Day-to-day tasks include performing inspections and troubleshooting, carrying out mechanical and avionics repairs, completing required documentation, and coordinating with operations and customer representatives to communicate status and repair plans. The technician will follow all safety, regulatory, and company procedures, maintain tools and equipment, and support occasional after-hours or weekend AOG calls as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting abilities, including experience with airframe, powerplant, and basic avionics systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents such as maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering drawings, and regulatory requirements.
  • Solid understanding of FAA regulations, standard maintenance practices, and safety protocols in a repair and AOG environment.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with pilots, dispatch, and other technicians under time pressure.
  • Proven capability to work independently on-site, manage priorities, and adapt quickly to changing schedules and AOG demands.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
  • Previous experience in general or corporate aviation maintenance, particularly in mobile or AOG support, is beneficial.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including standing, lifting, working in confined spaces, and performing tasks in various weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or aviation maintenance school completion is a plus.
