Job Summary:
Motive Studio, part of Electronic Arts, is dedicated to creating next-level entertainment experiences. They are seeking a Game Integrity Analyst to monitor and investigate player behaviors, ensuring a safe and fair gaming environment while collaborating with various teams to address issues related to bad actors.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze player behaviors and activities.
• Perform triage and investigations of enforcement appeals.
• Develop processes and systems to act on verified bad actors.
• Apply enforcements according to our Terms of Service using current processes and systems.
• Gather threat intelligence to support anti-cheat and UGX efforts.
• Document and escalate confirmed bad actor cases to appropriate teams.
• Communicate task progress and blockers to the team.
• Coordinate with other EA teams for consistent positive play enforcement.
• Provide feedback to improve the game's security, anti-cheat, and moderation solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years of experience in security analysis, fraud detection, or online gaming enforcement.
• 1+ years of experience as a SOC Tier 1 analyst working with SIEM technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Familiarity with online gaming platforms and technologies (EA Play, Steam, Xbox Live, PSN, etc.).
• Knowledge of common cheating, hacking, exploiting, and griefing methods and countermeasures.
• Basic knowledge of operating system fundamentals (processes, threads, virtual memory, etc.).
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools like PowerBI, Excel, Tableau, etc.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for gaming and positive play.
• Ability to articulate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
