Anthem Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a dedicated and skilled Sterilization Technician to join our dynamic team. Experience & Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
  • Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Prepare and package instruments for sterilization and proper storage.
  • Maintain and monitor sterilization logs and equipment maintenance records.
  • Set up and break down treatment rooms between patients.
  • Ensure proper disposal of biohazard and sharps waste following safety guidelines.
  • Restock dental supplies and maintain organized inventory of sterile instruments.
  • Assist dental assistants and dentists with maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment.
  • Follow guidelines from organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for infection control
  •  Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.  

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization procedures preferred.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
  • Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined.
