The Senior Manager, Quality Assurance leads the development and execution of comprehensive quality programs to ensure consistent service delivery and supplier performance. This role oversees quality audits, process improvements, and corrective actions while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness. By managing teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives, the position supports business objectives and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to implement best practices across quality assurance frameworks, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence throughout the organization.
About the team:
The Quality Assurance team leads supplier quality management by implementing rigorous protocols and continuous improvement processes. They collaborate with suppliers to validate product performance before production, driving quality initiatives and managing corrective and preventive actions. The team ensures manufacturing processes meet high standards through strong leadership and effective communication. They assess supplier performance, provide actionable feedback, and support process enhancements. Committed to maintaining product quality and operational excellence, the team fosters accountability and consistent delivery aligned with Walmart’s dedication to customer satisfaction and operational integrity.
What you'll do:
  • Conduct finite element analysis simulations to evaluate the structural behavior and performance of products

  • Collaborate with development teams to define simulation objectives, constraints, and boundary conditions.  

  • Develop and implement FEA models using software tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar platforms.  

  • Perform static, dynamic, thermal, and modal analyses to assess mechanical response under different operating conditions.  

  • Interpret simulation results and provide actionable insights to guide design modifications and improvements.  

  • Validate FEA predictions through correlation with experimental data and real-world testing.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of FEA findings into product design and development processes.  

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in finite element analysis, including proficiency in FEA software tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar.  

  • Strong understanding of structural mechanics, material properties, and numerical methods.  

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.  

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders.  

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work within established deadlines.  

  • Prior experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or consumer products is desirable.  

  • Willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements and learn new technologies as needed.
