Job description

Patient Care Assistant (PCA) – Anne Arundel County

Company: CentryCare Plus LLC
Location: Anne Arundel County, Maryland
Job Type: Part-Time / PRN
Pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment

CentryCare Plus LLC is a licensed Residential Service Agency providing compassionate, dependable in-home care throughout Maryland. We are currently expanding our caregiver team and are specifically seeking Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) located in or willing to travel throughout Anne Arundel County.

We are looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers who enjoy providing one-on-one support and helping individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living
  • Providing mobility and ambulation assistance
  • Assisting with toileting and personal hygiene
  • Preparing light meals
  • Providing medication reminders within the caregiver's permitted scope
  • Performing light housekeeping related to the client's care
  • Providing companionship and supervision
  • Assisting clients with errands and other approved activities
  • Following individualized client care plans
  • Documenting services provided during each visit
  • Reporting changes in a client's condition or concerns to CentryCare Plus
  • Maintaining professionalism, reliability, and client confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • Previous PCA, caregiver, home care, CNA, DSP, or similar experience preferred
  • Compassionate and comfortable providing one-on-one care
  • Reliable and dependable attendance
  • Ability to follow client care plans and agency policies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must successfully complete all required employment and compliance documentation
  • Must complete required background screening/CJIS requirements
  • CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
  • Reliable transportation is strongly preferred

We are especially interested in caregivers who:

  • Live in or near Anne Arundel County
  • Are comfortable traveling to assignments throughout the county
  • Have flexible weekday and/or weekend availability
  • Are available for morning, evening, or extended-hour assignments
  • Are interested in developing consistent relationships with recurring clients
