Job Description
Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician
Profession: Radiology/Cardiology

Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years required
License: State License required prior to start
Certifications: BLS, ARRT or CCI (RCES required)
Must-Have:
- Cardiac Ablation
- Cardiac Mapping
- Cardioversion
- Electrophysiology Lab experience
- Insertion/Programming of AICDs
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Pacemaker Insertion
- Sterile Technique
Description:
The Electrophysiology Technician is responsible for providing support in the EP Lab.
The role requires a highly experienced technician with expertise in scrubbing and monitoring EP ablation procedures.
Familiarity with Medtronic and Boston Scientific PFA mapping systems is preferred.
Experience using CLARIS workstation is also a plus.
The technician should possess the ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
Isolation precautions and PPE must be followed diligently.
The ideal candidate should be willing to teach others.
No call, no weekends, and no holidays are required for this position.
Daily patient census is approximately six, with two rooms available.
The work setting involves adults.
Candidates will complete modules prior to start, which are recorded via online learning.
Knowledge of the charting system is also essential for the role.
Preferred candidates will have previous charge experience and patient ratio experience.
A focus on maintaining a sterile field is necessary throughout all procedures.
