To thrive as an Animation Summer Intern, you typically need foundational skills in drawing, animation principles, and proficiency with animation software, often supported by coursework or a portfolio. Familiarity with industry-standard tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Toon Boom, or Autodesk Maya is usually required. Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills help you collaborate on projects and meet tight deadlines.
