Staffing Strong is recruiting a Graphic Designer for a client in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a 2-3-month contract-to-hire position starting soon, with the possibility of becoming permanent within 3 months. The role offers a hybrid schedule: three days on-site and two days remote (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on-site; Tuesday and Thursday remote).

About the Role:
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality visual assets that support the organization's brand, marketing efforts, and communication strategies. This role combines creativity and technical skills to produce print and digital materials, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain brand consistency and innovation. The Graphic Designer works independently on individual projects but receives guidance on complex or high-profile assignments.
Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging graphics, layouts, and multimedia assets for print, web, email, social media, presentations, events, and other platforms.
  • Prepare photo and video assets for marketing needs, such as reels, CTV ads, and website content.
  • Create templates, style guides, and reusable design assets to ensure brand consistency.
  • Apply and maintain brand standards across all creative work.
  • Contribute ideas to develop brand visuals and design systems.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to turn strategic goals into effective design solutions.
  • Offer mentorship or feedback to junior designers when required.
  • Research current design trends and emerging technologies to keep the organization's creative work innovative and engaging.
  • Suggest design strategies to boost user engagement and enhance visual storytelling.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional design experience in an agency, in-house, or a related setting.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and familiarity with Figma, Canva, or similar design tools.
  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or animation tools (such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, composition, and design best practices.
  • Experience designing for both print and digital platforms, including responsive layouts for the web.
  • Understanding production processes for print and web.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and web design.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Trello, etc.
  • Experience in photography, illustration, or other related creative skills is a plus.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A passion for education and a strong desire to create a positive impact.
