Company Description
Joel Slaven's Professional Animals provides animal training and staffing for live animal shows, special events, and production work. Currently JSPA has contracts with Sea World Parks in Florida, California, Texas and Virginia as well as with the Columbus Zoo and Jacksonville Zoo.
Job Description
JSPA currently has a Fulltime Performer position available at our "Pets Ahoy" show at Sea World San Antonio, Tx.
Candidates will be required to care for a variety of domestic animals. This will include; kennel maintenance, cleaning of animal enclosures, grooming, diet preparation, and enrichment. Candidate will also be responsible for show preparation and on-stage performance of a character role.
Qualifications
Candidate should be in excellent physical condition and be able to run, climb stairs, bend frequently, and lift on average 50lbs. They will have a high level of self-confidence and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Preference will be given to those with animal/theater experience.
Additional Information
Starting salary will be $1,800.00 per month plus benefits.
