The University of Findlay invites applications for part-time faculty position in Animal Science. The Department of Animal and Pre-Veterinary Studies boasts nearly 600 undergraduate students.

The candidates must hold a graduate or professional degree in Animal Science or related agriculture field (M.S., PhD, or DVM). We are seeking individuals with expertise in a variety of Animal Science disciplines which may include courses in companion animal management, animal behavior, animal health and welfare, preventive medicine, physiology, animal handling, farm business management, livestock merchandising, meat science, meat animal evaluation, animal nutrition, livestock production and management, or professional development and career exploration. ABD candidates will be considered but degree must be conferred prior to the start of the contract. Prior teaching experiences in higher education strongly encouraged. Applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrate ability to utilize digital technologies for course design and delivery.
