Job Summary:

The Girls Strawberry Patch is looking for energetic, dependable, and animal-loving individuals to join our team as Animal Attendants. In this role, you'll help care for our animals while creating a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for every guest who visits our petting zoo.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people of all ages, and takes pride in providing exceptional care for animals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care for all animals, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their overall health and well-being.
  • Clean and maintain animal enclosures, barns, feeding areas, and surrounding grounds to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

  • Monitor animal behavior and promptly report any signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior to management.

  • Assist guests with petting zoo interactions while ensuring the safety of both visitors and animals.

  • Educate guests on proper animal handling and petting zoo guidelines.

  • Keep walkways, guest areas, and animal exhibits clean, organized, and presentable throughout the day.

  • Refill feed stations and supplies as needed.

  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparing exhibits and securing animals.

  • Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment throughout The Girls Strawberry Patch.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and animal care standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.

Requirements:
  • Passion for animals and providing excellent customer service.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual.

  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

  • Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not requiredwe're happy to train the right candidate.
