Anesthesiology Opportunity

Part time Anesthesiologist opportunity available at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL! Great opportunity if you are looking for flexibility in scheduling. This part time position offers full benefits including 401k and profit sharing contributions.

OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is a designated Level I trauma center. The nonprofit Catholic hospital is dedicated to serving the diverse community of Rockford, IL. Outstanding surgeons and support staff team up to work in the fast-paced environment.

Team Highlights:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtain and/or verify patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements:

  • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMG and FLEX Completion
  • Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
  • Currently licensed as a physician
