Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly. You will play a key role in keeping equipment ready, supporting patient care, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey. 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need 
  • Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use 
  • Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
  • Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens 
  • Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices 
  • Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights 

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Prefer some patient care experience, preferable hospital based
