Anesthesia Aides need a solid understanding of basic medical terminology, patient care procedures, and a high school diploma or equivalent, often supplemented by on-the-job training. Depending on the hospital or surgical center, shifts may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends. The pace can be fast, especially in operating rooms with back-to-back cases, but you’ll benefit from being part of a supportive, team-oriented environment.
