SDET Android Automation

Key Responsibilities

Experienced with 5 to 8 years of experience in Mobile automation

Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for Android applications.

Develop and execute automated test scripts using Appium, Java, and Cucumber (Gherkin).

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define test strategies.

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Execute regression, functional, and integration testing.

Analyze test results, debug issues, and ensure high-quality releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in Android test automation.

Hands-on expertise in:

o Appium

o Java

o Cucumber / Gherkin (BDD)

Understanding of Android app architecture and lifecycle.

Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.

Solid knowledge of QA methodologies and test design techniques.
