Kitchen Guard Services is one of the largest kitchen exhaust and deep cleaning providers in California.Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Repair Technician. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-oriented, and capable of working independently. This role involves a combination of fieldwork and administrative tasks, requiring excellent problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Visit client sites to conduct repairs on various equipment including fans, curbing, belts, and HVAC systems.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair calls, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Engage with clients to assess their needs, recommend suitable repair services, and upsell additional services as appropriate.
  • Manage customer communications via email and follow up on repair requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform administrative duties, including data entry and maintaining service records.
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity and precision when working with small components or in confined spaces.
  • Utilize Android tablets for job-related tasks and documentation.
  • Apply mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Exhibit physical stamina to withstand long hours on feet, lifting heavy items, and working in challenging environments.
  • Climb ladders to access rooftops of commercial establishments safely and effectively.
  • Maintain attention to detail while working quickly and efficiently to meet service deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or repair work, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
  • Prior experience with Android tablets preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with HVAC systems are advantageous.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. over a distance of at least 100 feet.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:
  • Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments.
  • Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.
  • Able to stand for 10 hours at a time.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.
