Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer to support and develop .NET applications for utility-related systems. The role involves both sustainment and new development, as well as migration and integration work for existing applications.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Support and develop .NET applications (primarily C# and VB.NET) with Oracle and SQL Server backends, including both sustainment and new development for utility-related systems.
โ€ข Involvement in migration from CGI OMS to Oracle NMS, integration work, and support for a large number of existing Windows-based applications and some web applications (notably an outage watch app).
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Support and develop .NET applications (primarily C# and VB.NET) with Oracle and SQL Server backends, including both sustainment and new development for utility-related systems.
โ€ข C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server, Unix (basic skills), Oracle WebLogic, ASP.NET (helpful but not primary), Visual Studio, Azure DevOps for source control.
โ€ข Preferably 4โ€“10 years of industry experience; must be able to work independently without extensive handholding, but not at an architect level.
โ€ข Flexible SDLCโ€”mix of sprint-based and ad hoc enhancements; must be comfortable with both structured and informal processes.
โ€ข Strong problem-solving, willingness to learn, team-oriented, collaborative, and able to handle both support and new development tasks.
