An active Registered Nurse license is required for this position.

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license required.
  • Approximately two to five years of healthcare-management experience or comparable leadership experience.
  • Hospice leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Medicare hospice certification and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising clinical, professional, and administrative personnel.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare operations, financial management, staffing, quality, compliance, and interdisciplinary care.
  • Ability to build relationships and represent the agency effectively within the community.

  • Ability to operate effectively in an accountable, outcomes-driven environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The strongest candidate will be an experienced hospice operator who can lead through both people and performance.

Prior experience as a Hospice Executive Director, Administrator, Branch Director, General Manager, Director of Operations, or senior clinical-operations leader would be highly relevant.

The organization is particularly interested in a leader who can create stability, establish expectations, develop the management team, and build an accountable culture centered on quality patient care.
