Surgical Pathologist with Cytopathology Sign-Out Las Vegas, NV
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (USA). Quest Diagnostics is currently seeking an AP/CP board-certified surgical pathologist and/or cytopathologist to join the well-respected collegial team of 15 pathologists covering 3 hospitals and a central laboratory in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. This dynamic pathology group includes 3 hematopathologists, 2 cytopathologists, and 2 dermatopathologists.
Responsibilities
This key position includes rotation between the Burnham lab and hospital settings. Frozen sections should be expected. The mix of pathology cases include breast, GYN, GU, and GI, as well as cytology (body fluids, urine, GI brushings, etc.). Cytopathologists are encouraged to apply and would be expected to perform fine needle aspirations (FNAs) and rapid onsite evaluations (ROSE). Recently trained and experienced pathologists will be considered.
Experience:
  • Pathologists with 5-10 years of experience preferred.
  • Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations.
  • Ability to communicate with high level decision makers in the organization.

Qualifications
  • Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and current unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Nevada or eligibility for licensure
  • Board certification in Cytopathology preferred
