Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / Vascular IR Radiologic Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT/ACLS certification for a hospital-based interventional cardiology and radiology role.
Details
- 110-bed hospital setting in Dublin, Ohio
- Cath Lab unit with preference for candidates with Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR) experience
- Role involves scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Weekend and weekday call required
- Travelers are expected to float first
- Uses X-ray, fluoroscopy, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- EPIC charting experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- ARRT registration required
- Ohio Radiologic License (ODH) required if applicable
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Cath Lab and IR experience required
- Vascular IR Technologist experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology required
- Knowledge of coronary and peripheral anatomy and sterile technique required
- EPIC charting system experience required
Additional Information
- Serve as the primary assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- May also support Vascular Interventional Radiology procedures including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound-guided imaging
- Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing
- EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing
- Maximum 10 days of requested time off (RTO) per contract, with no RTO permitted during the initial weeks of the assignment
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
- More than one call-off may result in termination, and no call/no show results in immediate termination
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
- Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the central facility to qualify for standard travel eligibility
- Returning staff must have a 366-day separation from prior employment with the health system before accepting a travel assignment
- PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed PRN
