Title: Lab Assistant

Location: Las Vegas NV 89119

Duration: 6/16/2026 - 9/5/2026

Shift/Time Zone: Mornings (8:30am to 5:00pm) PST

Job Description:

1. Maintaining an organized filing system for all pathology slides.

2. Pulls slides as requested by physician for deepers.

3. Files physicians request forms for deepers/special stains/problem resolutions.

4. Sends duplicate slides to referring physicians.

5. Assisting other departments with clerical functions when available.

6. Returns slides to file when received back from outside facilities and documents the return in the computer system.

7. Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

8. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager, Director or Physicians.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Graduate

2. One-year clerical experience

3. Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the health care field.
