Job description

Position Summary: The Department of Biology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biology with a focus on Human Anatomy & Physiology. The successful candidate will contribute to both undergraduate and graduate programs through teaching, research, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in biology, including human anatomy & physiology and medical terminology.
  • Utilize Anatomage Table in training students for medical and other professional schools
  • Develop and deliver course content in alignment with program curricula.
  • Advise and mentor students.
  • Maintain active scholarship and pursue external funding.
  • Participate in departmental, university, and community service.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Cell Biology, Public Health with significant training in previously mentioned areas.
  • Demonstrated teaching, research, and service experience appropriate for Assistant Professor rank.
  • Commitment to student success and scholarly development.

Salary: Salary and Rank are commensurate with qualifications.
