Sports Doctor Job Responsibilities


  • Conduct patient consultations by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
  • Evaluate patients neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
  • Understand and know all Sports Orthopedic tests
  • Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, to correct the musculoskeletal system.
  • Know your Anatomy like the back of your hand.
  • Obtain and record patients medical histories.
  • Arrange for diagnostic x-rays/MRI's to be taken.
  • Analyze digital imaging (MRI and Radiographs) to locate the sources of patients difficulties and rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.
  • Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
  • Educate patients on Movement and sports rehab
  • Provide a patient with educational resources and a recommended course of treatment.
  • Acupuncture
  • Soft tissue CE is a PLUS



Education & Experience Requirements


  • Doctorate of Chiropractic/Doctorate of Physical Therapy
  • MUST have two or more years of experience in Sports Rehab
  • Dry Needling (strongly preferred)
  • Graduate of an accredited chiropractic program/Physical therapy program (DC/DPT)
  • Current license as a chiropractor/physical therapist in the state of practice
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Malpractice Insurance
  • Background in Strength and Conditioning (strongly preferred)
  • Background in soft tissue management techniques (strongly preferred)


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
