What is an anatomist doctor?

An anatomist doctor is a medical professional who specializes in the study of the structure of living organisms, particularly the human body. They focus on understanding the form and organization of organs, tissues, and cells, often working in research, education, or healthcare settings. Anatomists may teach anatomy to medical students, conduct research to advance medical science, or assist in clinical settings by providing anatomical expertise for surgeries or diagnostics. Their work is foundational for many other medical and biological sciences.
