Hiring Range: $225,000 - $525,000

UMass Memorial Health seeks Anatomic Pathologist interested in an Academic Career. We are able to accept varied backgrounds and interests for this opportunity.

UMass Memorial Health, the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anatomic Pathologist (MD/DO) to join our collaborative, academically engaged Department of Pathology. This is a physician-only role with opportunities to participate in a diverse case mix within a busy tertiary and quaternary care health system in Central Massachusetts.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality anatomic pathology services across a broad spectrum of subspecialties while supporting patient care, education, and quality initiatives. Opportunities for academic appointment and teaching are available, consistent with experience and interest.

The Department of Pathology has over thirty faculty members and a highly regarded AP/CP residency training program with sixteen residents. The main campus is in Worcester, Massachusetts, in an area with abundant natural beauty, a myriad of excellent school systems, superb restaurants, and innumerable cultural offerings. Worcester is centrally located in New England, within an hour of Boston and Providence, and a short drive from the coastal beauty of Cape Cod and the scenic Berkshire Mountains.
