Job description

Anaplan Integration Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Contract / Long-Term

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Anaplan Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support integrations between Anaplan and various enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Anaplan integrations, CloudWorks, Anaplan Connect, APIs, ETL processes, SQL, and data transformation.

This person will work closely with Anaplan model builders, business teams, data engineers, and application teams to ensure reliable and accurate movement of data across systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Anaplan and enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, HR, and data warehouse platforms.
  • Build and support integrations using Anaplan CloudWorks, Anaplan Connect, REST APIs, and ETL tools.
  • Create data mappings, transformations, validations, and reconciliation processes.
  • Work with Anaplan model builders to understand changes to modules, lists, hierarchies, actions, and processes.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures, data issues, and production incidents.
  • Monitor scheduled integration jobs and ensure data is transferred accurately and on time.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Support enhancements and changes to existing integration processes.
  • Work with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or similar tools when required.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, data validation, and production support.
  • Document integration flows, technical designs, mappings, and support procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve integration performance and reliability.
Required Skills
  • 4+ years of experience in data integration, application integration, or data engineering.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Anaplan integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Anaplan CloudWorks, Anaplan Connect, imports/exports, actions, and processes.
  • Experience with Anaplan Integration APIs / REST APIs.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and data transformation.
  • Experience working with JSON, CSV, XML, and API-based integrations.
  • Experience with one or more integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, SnapLogic, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Good understanding of data validation, reconciliation, error handling, and integration monitoring.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Python or scripting for integration automation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Anaplan implementations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Anaplan certification is a plus.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
