Job Summary:
ClifyX is seeking an Anaplan Architect to lead the architecture and design of Anaplan solutions. The role involves collaborating with business leaders to gather requirements, designing complex models, and ensuring data governance and integration with enterprise systems.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end Anaplan solution architecture, including data models, integration frameworks, and UX design.
• Define scalable, high-performance model structures aligned with Anaplan best practices (PLANS, DISCO methodologies).
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and data governance policies.
• Design and build complex Anaplan models for Financial Planning, Sales Planning, Workforce Planning, or Supply Chain.
• Optimize model performance (sparsity reduction, efficient calculations, minimized formula complexity).
• Oversee development lifecycle including model revision control and deployment.
• Partner with business leaders (Finance, Sales, HR, Supply Chain) to gather requirements and translate into technical designs.
• Provide thought leadership on planning transformation and Anaplan capabilities.
• Drive workshops, demos, and solution presentations.
• Architect integrations between Anaplan and enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle, Snowflake, Workday, etc.).
• Work with ETL tools (Informatica, MuleSoft, Boomi) or APIs for seamless data exchange.
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security.
• Establish and enforce Anaplan CoE (Center of Excellence) standards.
• Perform model reviews, audits, and performance tuning.
• Maintain documentation for architecture, models, and processes.
• Guide and mentor Anaplan model builders and analysts.
• Act as SME for troubleshooting and complex solutioning.
• Provide training on best practices and advanced Anaplan features.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Deep expertise in: Anaplan modeling (lists, modules, dashboards, ALM, versioning)
• PLANS & DISCO methodologies
• Strong understanding of: Financial planning & forecasting processes, Multi-dimensional modeling concepts
• Integration experience: REST APIs, Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft)
• Data platforms knowledge: Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or GCP
Preferred:
• Familiarity with: SQL, Python (nice to have)
