Job description

VMS Program Manager

Talent Point | Remote (United States) | Full-Time | Travel: ~50%

About the Role

Talent Point is hiring a VMS Program Manager to own and operate our vendor management system (VMS) program end to end. You\'ll manage the day-to-day performance of the program, lead a small team, and serve as the primary point of contact between Talent Point, our clients, and supplier partners. This is a fully remote role open to candidates located anywhere in the United States, with travel (approximately 50%) for client and vendor visits.

What You\'ll Do

  • Own end-to-end administration and performance of the vendor management system (VMS) program, ensuring service levels, compliance, and reporting standards are met.
  • Directly manage and develop a team of employees, setting goals, providing coaching, and overseeing day-to-day workflow.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor and client issues, resolving conflicts and driving continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with staffing suppliers, ensuring compliance with program requirements, rate cards, and service level agreements.
  • Analyze program data and reporting (fill rates, time-to-fill, spend, compliance) to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with clients to understand hiring needs and ensure the VMS program meets workforce goals.
  • Travel occasionally (~50%) for on-site client meetings, vendor reviews, and program business reviews.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in vendor management, MSP/VMS programs, staffing, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience overseeing or managing employees.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Comfort working with data and reporting to drive decisions.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Why Talent Point

  • Fully remote role, work from anywhere in the U.S.
  • A growing team where you\'ll have real ownership over a program and a team.
  • Opportunity to shape process and strategy, not just execute it.

Compensation

Salary: To be announced.

Location & Travel

This is a 100% remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the United States. Occasional travel (approximately 50%) is required for client and vendor engagements
