Position: Program Manager Tech 4
Location: Redmond, WA
Job Type: Contract
Description: Seeking a Technical Project Manager with an extensive Management Experience for an opportunity in Redmond, WA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Familiar with the Office marketing org.
Project is to help develop the plan and roll out new branding for Office by Envision in Feb.
Scope is in marketing channels only, not in product, however, we need help scoping the fringe channels, i.e. support, RM, social, operations, etc. via a broader v-team to be kicked off the week of 9/19
Drive programs/projects from project initiation through delivery.
Interface with clients on technical and business issues.
Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented.
Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information.
Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
Provide program/project schedules and status reports.
Skills Required:
Lead a high profile Microsoft project that crosses over multiple engineering and marketing departments.
7-10 years of overall PM experience.
Recent Microsoft experience is a must within the last year
Qualifications:
Microsoft Experience is required, experience previously (managing at least 1 large project at Microsoft within the last 5 years) is mandatory.
Across engineering and marketing and operations is ideal.
Degree/Certification - PMI or PMP certifications are a plus
More important to have the Microsoft high level experience
Best candidate understands how to build a team, lead a team, and motivate a team.
