Job description

This role will play a critical role in advancing Lord Abbett’s wealth management business through high-impact analytics, data stewardship, and domain expertise. This role is primarily responsible for generating insightful analytics for wealth management intermediary clients and prospects and for supporting wealth management client master data domain knowledge. The position partners closely with wealth management platform managers, wealth management field sales, portfolio specialists, marketing, finance, and technology teams to enable data-driven strategy and execution.


  • Deliver High-Quality Analytics: Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of analytics to support platform managers and field sales as well as internal stakeholders such marketing teams.
  • Strengthen Strategic Partnerships: Leverage data-driven insights, industry best practices, and home office intelligence to deepen relationships with sales leaders and align with strategic business objectives.
  • Completing ad hoc requests for research, analysis, and reporting by pulling from diverse internal and external data sources, implementing the appropriate method of analysis and offering meaningful insights.
  • Advance Data Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to the development and execution of the client master and analytics roadmap, promoting the strategic use of data to identify and implement growth opportunities for Lord Abbett sales teams.
  • Drive Client Strategy Through Analytics: Utilize data to define, track, and evaluate client segmentation and product commercialization efforts, and execution effectiveness.
  • Collaborate on Data Architecture and Operations: Partner with Data and Technology teams to design and manage client master, streamline data operations, and provide input on data architecture requirements.
  • Lead Strategic Projects: Own and manage cross-functional initiatives from problem identification through solution design to implementation, ensuring measurable business impact.
  • Deep expertise in 1st party transactions, asset and activity data and translating them into actionable insights
  • Fostering a culture of data literacy, transparency and KPI tracking throughout the organization.

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence within asset management or financial services, with wealth management intermediary exposure strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with field sales and platform relations leaders, as well as portfolio specialists, by converting business needs into clear technical requirements and impactful solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership in distribution-focused initiatives and client insight strategies, particularly for clients utilizing model portfolios, SMAs, and alternative investment products
  • A rare blend of hands-on data analytics capabilities and direct sales experience, enabling a holistic understanding of both technical and commercial dimensions
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate high personal initiate, the ability to work independently and be a strong team player
  • Strong focus on stakeholder service, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative approaches to data optimization, storytelling, and go-to-market execution
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $125,000 - $140,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
