Job Description:

At Regions, the Financial Manager works within the Finance organization and provides accounting and financial strategic support to business unit leaders.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Performs financial analysis and reporting including guidance in areas of forecasting, budgeting, reporting as well as month end close
  • Plans, organizes, and directs the efficient and accurate production of reporting packages as well as support for external filings
  • Ensures the governance activities of the group are followed such as policies and procedures and financial statement control procedures
  • Serves as point of contact for day-to-day activities with either risk, internal audit, external auditors, regulators, or other stakeholders
  • Maintains knowledge of accounting and/or regulatory changes on a wide variety of topics as well as other current events that impact the bank
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for the use of newsystems and processes
  • Owns relationships with vendors
  • Oversees the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs
  • May leada small teamin the day-to-day activities of the group

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field
  • Six (6) years offinance experience as well as experience managing groups or functions
Preferences
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as applicable to the group’s responsibilities
Skills and Competencies
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access
  • Attention to detail and robust documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation of financial analysis and/or results to stakeholders
  • Project management aptitude
  • Strong analytical skills

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum: $112,349.60 USD

Median: $151,950.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance. Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
